At 22 years, 4 months, 23 days old was the youngest Reds player to make his Major League debut since OF Yorman Rodriguez (22 years, 20 days old) on 9/4/2014 at Bal and the youngest player to debut as the Reds' starting shortstop since Kurt Stillwell (20 years, 313 days old) did it on 4/13/1986 at SD... Was one of five Reds players to make Major League debuts (OF Shogo Akiyama, RHP Tejay Antone, C Tyler Stephenson, OF Mark Payton)... After his promotion on 8/26, started at SS in 19 of the Reds' last 32 games of the season...after his promotion, Reds pitchers went 20-12 and posted an ERA of 3.68... Joined the Taxi Squad prior to the game on 8/25 at Mil and then was promoted the next day, when the Reds optioned to the alternate training site OF Travis Jankowski.
