LaVictor Antwain Lipscomb...Graduated from Urbana (Md.) High School...Attended the University of Tennessee... Hit .355 as a senior in 2022 while leading the Southeastern Conference and ranking fifth nationally with 80 RBI...Was a Dick Howser Trophy finalist and Golden Spikes Award semi-finalist... He ranked in the top five in the conference in slugging percentage (2nd, .717), total bases (2nd, 180), home runs (4th, 22) and runs scored (4th, 68) en route to being named First-Team All-SEC.

2023

Led Nationals Minor Leaguers with 139 hits and 29 doubles while ranking fourth in average (.272), home runs (14) and RBI (72) in his first full professional season... Led the Eastern League in hits (91) and ranked second on the Senators in home runs (10) from the his promotion (June 9) through the end of the season... Went 16-for-27 (.593) with two doubles, a triple, two homers, 10 RBI, three strikeouts and eight runs scored in six games from Aug. 1 to Aug. 6...Was named Eastern League Player of the Week for the effort... Hit .339/.370/.519 in 46 games from July 1 to Aug. 26... Named South Atlantic League Player of the Week on June 4 after hitting .429 with five doubles, a homer and seven RBI.

Reported to Single-A Fredericksburg after the First-Year Player Draft...He had hits in 20 of his first 26 games...He had hits in nine of his last 12 games, including four multi-hit efforts...Hit his first career home run in his first career at-bat on Aug. 9 against Augusta.
