2022

Chi Chi Gonzalez made seven Major League appearances (five starts) across three different organizations in 2022: with Minnesota from June 3 - 11, with Milwaukee from June 21 - July 10 and Oct. 2 with New York-AL. Combined to go 0-1 with a 5.87 ERA (23.0 IP/15 ER) with 7 walks and 15 strikeouts... In 18 appearances (14 starts) in the Minors, all at Triple-A, went 2-3 with a 4.03 ERA (80.1 IP/36 ER) with 27 walks and 71 strikeouts... Signed with Minnesota as a Minor League free agent with an invitation to Spring Training on March 18, 2022. Did not make the Opening Day roster.

2021

Made Colorado's Opening Day roster and began season in Rockies bullpen... Made two relief appearances on April 1 and April 4 against the Dodgers in the first series of the season...moved to the rotation starting April 10 and made seven starts before moving back to the bullpen with the reinstatement of Kyle Freeland... Gave up at least one home run in 11-straight starts from May 19-Sept. 2, the longest streak of his career... Allowed home runs in 14 of his 18 starts overall...career-high three home runs given up on June 10 at Miami...allowed home runs in nine straight appearances overall June 10-Aug. 18, tied for the eighth-longest 2021 home run streak in baseball...longest home run streak for a Rockies pitcher since Jon Gray gave up a homer in 16 straight July 31, 2018-April 17, 2019 and tied for the fourth-longest in Rockies history...longest single-season streak since John Thompson went 13-straight games with a homer May 17-July 23, 2002... Went 1-2, 4.42 ERA (36.2 IP, 18 ER) across seven starts (Rockies 2-5) in his first stint in the rotation this season...went 1-4, 8.23 ERA (50.1 IP, 46 ER) through his last 11 starts (Rockies 4-7) from June 10 through his final start on Sept. 7... Made four starts and two relief appearances in his second season with Colorado... As a starter, went 0-2 with an 8.56 ERA (13.2 IP, 13 ER), seven walks and 10 strikeouts … Colorado went 2-2 across his four starts … pitched a season-high 5.1 innings, allowing three runs on eight hits with four strikeouts in his final start of the season on Sept. 24 at San Francisco... Allowed two earned runs across six innings (3.00 ERA) as a reliever … tossed four-innings and allowed one run on two hits Aug. 30 vs. San Diego... Had one stint on the 10-day injured list from Aug. 7-29 with right biceps tendinitis... Went 0-1 with a 5.14 ERA (14.0 IP, 8 ER), five walks and 11 strikeouts … both of his relief appearances were in Denver... Made two starts on the road, allowing seven earned runs across 5.2 innings for a 11.12 ERA … pitched just 0.1 innings in his first road outing, Sept. 8 at San Diego, allowing four runs on no hits, three walks and one hit batter with one strikeout … he was the first starting pitcher in Rockies franchise history to allow as many as four earned runs without giving up a hit in a start, and the first Major League pitcher to do so since Brandon Morrow, April 26, 2014 vs. Boston.

2019

Made a career-high 12 starts and a career-high-tying 14 appearances across four stints in his first season with Colorado ... Contract selected from Triple-A Albuquerque on June 25 and started that night at San Francisco, his first Major League appearance since 2016 ... became the first pitcher to start for the Rockies that made his debut for another team since Tyler Chatwood in 2017, a span of 382 games ... also became the first pitcher signed as a free agent to start for the Rockies since Kyle Kendrick in 2015 ... The Rockies lost each of his first nine starts and each of his first 10 appearances from June 25-Sept. 3 ... went 0-6 with a 7.29 ERA (42.0 IP, 34 ER) over the span ... first pitcher in franchise history to have the team lose each of his first eight starts ... it was the longest such streak in MLB since the Reds lost each of Cody Reed's first 14 starts, June 18, 2016-Sept. 4 2018 ... snapped the streak with a win vs. St. Louis on Sept. 10 ... Went 2-0 with a 1.65 ERA (27.1 IP, 5 ER) in five appearances (four starts) in September and posted the fourth-lowest ERA in the National League that month ... Made his second relief appearance of the season Sept. 22 at Dodger Stadium and earned a win ... pitched five innings and allowed two unearned runs on two hits with one walk and eight strikeouts ... the eight strikeouts with a career high and the second most by a Rockies reliever in franchise history (most: nine, Bruce Ruffin, Sept. 14, 1993, game one vs. Houston).

2018

Made two rehab stints with the AZL Rangers and Spokane Indians...Appeared in three games, two starts, allowing two hits across 10.0 innings with eight strikeouts.

2017

Missed the entire season with an ulnar collateral ligament tear in his right elbow and underwent season-ending 'Tommy John' ligament replacement surgery on 7/24…made 3 starts in spring training, going 0-1, 9.39 ERA, with last outing on 3/14 at ARI (2.2 IP, 8 H, 8 R-7 ER)…was originally shut down after that outing for 6 weeks when a partial tear was diagnosed, taking a rest and rehab approach, along with a platelet-rich plasma injection…spent the entire season on the 60-day disabled list before he was reinstated on 11/6…was not tendered a 2018 contract offer on 12/1, making him a free agent…re-signed with Texas to a minors deal on 12/4.

2016

Made 3 starts with the Rangers during his lone stint with the club from 6/27-7/7, going 0-2 while allowing 13 runs (10 ER) in 10.1 IP…took ND on 6/27 at NYY (5.0 IP, 5 R-ER, career-high 10 hits), a Rangers comeback win that featured a rain delay of 3:35 in the 9th inning…recorded 2 outs on 7/2 at MIN, a 17-5 defeat and was optioned to Round Rock following club's 10-1 loss on 7/7 vs. MIN (4.2 IP, 4 R-ER)… went 2-3, 2.59 (12 ER/41.2 IP) in 1st 6 career ML starts in 2015, averaging nearly 7.0 IP per start…last 7 ML starts: 1-4, 7.76 (25 ER/29.0 IP), just over 4.0 IP per start.

2015

Went 4-6 with 3.90 ERA (29 ER/67.0 IP) in 14 games/10 starts over three stints with the Rangers: May 30-July 3, Aug. 13-17, and Sept. 11- end of season…his .202 opponents average (49-242) was 10th lowest in A.L. among pitchers with at least 65.0 innings, sixth-lowest ever by a Texas rookie with as many innings pitched…posted five quality starts, tied for sixth on staff, and his three losses in quality starts tied for most on team (also Nick Martinez)…made seven starts as a member of the rotation during the initial stint, and each of first 10 outings were starts before finishing the year with four relief outings.

2014

Compiled the lowest ERA among Texas farmhands and tied for the organizational lead in wins…combined to go 12-6 with a 2.66 ERA (41 ER/138.2 IP) and 113 strikeouts over 26 games/25 starts with Frisco (Class AA) and Myrtle Beach (Class A+)…opened season with Pelicans and was a mid-season Carolina League All-Star… when promoted to Frisco on June 9, ranked among CL leaders in ERA (5th), WHIP (3rd), and opp. average (4th)…named organization's May Minor League Pitcher of the Month (4-0, 1.59, 6 ER/34.0 IP, 26 SO, 10 BB in 5 GS)…had a no-hitter broken up in the seventh inning of his start on May 20 at Frederick…posted the fourth-lowest ERA (2.70) in the Texas League from June 9 through the remainder of the season…compiled a 4.50 ERA (8 ER/16.0) over his first four Class AA starts and a 2.20 ERA (14 ER/57.1 IP) over his final 11 games/10 starts…started Frisco's playoff opener and earned the victory on Sept. 3 vs. Midland (6.0 IP, 2 R-ER, 7 SO)

Reached Class High-A Myrtle Beach in professional debut…combined to go 0-4 with a 3.80 ERA (18 ER/42.2 IP) in 14 games/starts between Spokane (short-A) and Myrtle Beach…debuted with Spokane on June 14…compiled a 0.90 ERA (1 ER/10.0 IP) with 9 SO against 2 BB over his final three starts…promoted to Myrtle Beach on Aug.8 and posted a 0.75 ERA (1 ER/12.0 IP) over final three starts… started Game 2 of the Carolina League semifinals.
