Spent his 3rd season in Giants uniform, but saw limited action for 3rd-consecutive year due to injuries ... Appeared in just 60 games, batting .289 (69-for-239) with 3 HRs and 24 RBI ... Was Giants' Opening Day 2nd baseman and played well for 1st 2 1/2 months before suffering season-ending injury on June 10 in which he dislocated his right shoulder (throwing shoulder) after making diving stop on ground ball in 5th inning during Giants-Reds game at AT&T Park... MRI exam showed that he damaged his labrum and stretched out his shoulder capsule...rested his arm in sling for several weeks ...
