Made the 2023 Opening Day roster to begin his first season in Atlanta, but was placed on the 60-day Injured List on July 13 with a right shoulder strain... The Braves won 28 of the 35 games he appeared in... Held left-handed batters to a .140 average (8-for-57) with 17 strikeouts and one walk for a .366 OPS, which ranked third in the Majors (min. 50 lefty batters faced)...Through his final appearance of the season on July 7, he ranked second on the team with 35 appearances and ranked sixth in the National League with 15 holds...When he was placed on the 60-day IL on July 13, Anderson was one of four National League pitchers with at least four wins and no losses, and his 3.06 ERA (12 ER in 35.1 IP) ranked second among that group...Made three appearances during a Minor League rehab assignment with Triple-A Gwinnett, but was returned from that assignment on Sept. 27 and did not pitch again in 2023.
2022
Spent the entire season on the injured list or in the Minor Leagues. Opened the season on thg.e 60-day injured list (recovery from right elbow surgery), and remained there until a rehab assignment with the rookie-level FCL Rays on July 22¡He was reinstated from the injured list on Au 22 and optioned to Durham. Was again placed on Tampa Bay¡¯s 60-day injured list, Sept. 21, with right foot planter fasciitis, and missed the remainder of the season. In 19 Minor League games on the season, he compiled a 1-0 record and a 5.19 ERA (10 ER/17.1 IP).
2021
Diagnosed with a partial UCL tear as well as flexor tendinitis at the end of Spring Training and was placed on the 60-day IL on March 26...Reinstated from the 60-day IL on Sept. 12 and made his season debut the next night¡made six apps in September before going on the 10-day IL on Sept. 27 (low back tightness)...Combined for 13 rehab apps (1 start) between the Rookie-level FCL Rays and Triple-A Durham, going 0-0 with a 4.26 ERA (12.2-IP, 6-ER) and 16 SO¡began rehabbing July 23 and made two apps before an interruption by a medical issue unrelated to his elbow¡joined Durham on Aug. 12 and made 11 apps with them...Struck out one of 24 BF in his six apps spanning 6 IP, compared to 26 SO in 16.1 IP in 2020...Allowed a run in three straight apps to end the season after his first three apps were scoreless...Underwent right elbow surgery Oct. 27, performed by Dr. Keith Meister in Dallas¡during the surgery, Meister repaired the UCL with an internal brace procedure¡his expected return to game action is after the 2022 All-Star break.
