ABOUT

In partnership with the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department, the Fund is proud to now offer competitive baseball opportunities for youth in San Francisco. Our Academy programming aims to grow baseball and softball in San Francisco��s under-resourced communities and cultivate diversity in all aspects of the game.

GAME CHANGEHER INITIATIVE

Through our Game ChangeHER gender equity initiative, the Fund aims to make sports more accessible, inclusive, supportive and both physically and emotionally safe for girls everywhere. To learn more, click here!

ENROLLMENT

Participation is 100% free. The Giants Community Fund provides each player with the following in order to play ball:

- Jersey

- Pants

- Hat

- Equipment

- & more!

LEAGUE SCHEDULE

Winter Clinics: January - February
Summer Season: June-August
Fall Season: September-November

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Coaches:

Coaches are needed! Opportunities to be a head coach or assistant coach are now available for the summer season. Click here to apply as a coach!

WCA Coaching:

Interested in a paid leadership opportunity? The Academy is proud to partner with the Women's Coaching Alliance to offer the opportunity for female- identifying individuals over the age of 15 to coach Academy Softball teams. No prior coaching experience is required! Apply here!

Academy Umpire Program:

Interested in learning to umpire for Academy Baseball and Softball games? Register for our Academy Umpire Training Program here.

SATURDAY SPEAKER SERIES

Each Saturday during the Summer and Fall seasons, various speakers will visit to provide Academy baseball and softball players insight on their career and how they got to where they are today. To learn more, click here.
