Started the year at Double-A Richmond and made 10 starts for the Squirrels, going 0-0 with a 1.74 ERA. Roupp struck out 42 batters over 31.0 innings (12.2 K/9ip) and held opponents to a .206 average. Had his season cut short after landing in the 7-day IL on July 2 with back inflammation, an injury he sustained on the field during his June 30 start. Missed the remainder of the year in the IL. Roupp¡¯s 1.74 ERA prior to hitting the IL on June 30 ranked as the fourth-lowest in all Double-A (min. 30.0ip).
2022
Started the year at Single-A San Jose and served mostly as a reliever, making 12 appearances out of the bullpen before starting his final two games there...Went 5-2 with a 2.59 ERA in 14 outings...Promoted to High-A Eugene, where he went 3-0 with a 1.67 ERA in seven starts, striking out 52 batters in just 32.1 innings (14.5 K/9 IP)...Overall, went 10-3 with a 2.60 ERA in 26 games (14 starts) between three levels.
