The Cleveland Guardians and WKYC are teaming up for Weather Education Day at Progressive Field. The weather team will demonstrate the special relationship that weather has with the game of baseball to students.

STEM Day Presented by Swagelok 每 Wednesday, May 14
The concourse will be filled with Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Baseball! Enjoy learning about STEM in the morning from the Cleveland Community, and then cheer on the Guardians in the afternoon!

- Students will experience hands-on learning opportunities filled with principles of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math

- Exhibitors guidelines are middle school focused, but hands-on learning is fun for anyone

- 10:00am-12:30pm STEM Day activities located around the concourse of the Lower Bowl.
- 12:30pm-1:10pm Lunch and Free time
- 1:10pm Guardians game

FAQs
Q: What time do the gates open?
A: Left Field Gate open at 10 am. We encourage groups to arrive by 10 am to avoid the rush.
Q: What is the best way to navigate the ballpark and concession stands?
A: Check out the maps and menus on the MLB Ballpark app to help find concession stands and food options, restrooms, fan services and security. We encourage at least one teacher or chaperone to have this app on their smart phone.
Q: Where do I go for the Pre-purchased Pennant District?
A: The Pennant District is located in the Right Field Upper Deck. The ramp and escalator near section 113 is the best way to enter this space. Food will be served from 12:30pm- 2:30pm. Schools must purchase this in advanced and is private to each group.
Q: Can our students bring in their lunches?
A: Yes! Individual packed lunches are permitted. Students are required to carry in his or her own and will be subject to a bag check at security. Water Bottles only. All bottles must be empty, or factory sealed. Hard sided coolers are not permitted in the ballpark.
Q: What items can we bring into the ballpark?
A: Bags are permitted in the ballpark, and subject to security. More details can be found at /guardians/ballpark/information/guide. Students are encouraged to bring something to write with!
Q: What should I do if a student is lost or separated from our group?
A: If you are lost (or lost a student) and need help reconnecting your group, please go to the nearest gate or game day team member at any of the seating section. They will radio security and call for help.
Q: What if there is a rainout?
A: We will do our best to host the Education Days rain or shine. If there are thunderstorms in the forecast, for everyone＊s safety the pregame portion will be cancelled.
The program maybe adjusted to accommodate in a weather safe environment. Group Service team will email the group leaders ASAP with any updates and last minute changes. In the event that the game is cancelled due to rain, a group sales representative will be in contact with the Group Leader o to talk through your options.
Q: Is Progressive Field Cashless?
A: Yes, Progressive Field is a cashless venue. All purchases inside the ballpark must be made with a credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Guards Mobile Wallet. Additionally, and at no charge, fans will be able to convert cash to a prepaid card via reverse ATM machines that can be used for purchases inside and outside the ballpark. These are located near Lower and Upper Level Fan Services (behind sections 153 and 550), the left field gate and right field neighborhood area.
