Full name is Andrew Eugene Pettitte...he and his wife, Laura, have four children: sons Joshua Blake (15), Jared (11) and Luke Jackson (4), and daughter, Lexy Grace (9)... was selected by the Yankees in the 22nd round of the 1990 First-Year Player Draft, but chose to attend San Jacinto (Texas) Junior College... was eventually signed by Joe Robison on 5/25/91... graduated from Deer Park (Texas) High School... his father-in-law has been the pastor of the same Deer Park Baptist church for more than 40 years... Did not allow a home run in his last eight starts (49.12IP) and only one in his last 10 starts (65.21IP).. Allowed only 1HR to left-handed batters in 2000 (to Robin Ventura, NY Mets, 6/10 at Yankee Stadium)..
