Full name is Vidal Bruján Esteva...He weighed just 145 pounds when he signed his Rays contract at age 16...In 2018, Vidal’s father passed away at age 52 due to complications associated with a stomach condition…his father had been the biggest influence on his young baseball career, providing him rides to practice and any equipment he needed.
