Enjoyed a very solid season in his first taste of full-season affiliate action and his first game played since 2019...Split the year between High-A Lake County and Double-A Akron, leading the organization in runs scored (79) in 2021... Also finished second in the system in extra-base hits (46), total bases (203) and steals, third in hits (122) and fourth in doubles (26) and RBI (63)...Was hit by 15 pitches (most in the system)... Began the year in Lake County and got off to a pedestrian start, hitting .207 (18-for-87) in May (4 XBH, 8 RBI) before batting .313 (25-for-80) in June with 13 XBH and 13 RBI...Batted .311 (23-for-74) over his last 19 games for the Captains before being promoted to AA Akron (remainder of season) on July 30...Batted .337 (29-for-86) with 8 2B, 3 3B, HR, 14 RBI and 18 runs over his final 20 games of the season (.928 OPS)...At 20 years of age, was nearly four years younger (3.9) than the AA NE league average...Hit safely over the final 12 games of the season (.340, 18/53)... After being promoted to Akron on July 30, Rocchio led the Double-A Northeast in hits (54), extra-base hits (23), total bases (93), runs (34), tied for the lead in triples (4), fourth in RBI (30) and fourth in doubles (13).
