In it, he said he became transfixed with the game as a toddler by watching his mom play competitive slow-pitch softball where she was a slugging left fielder...Wade is an avid ping pong player and practices against a robot to improve his skills. His mother, Emily, is also an avid ping pong player and plays competitively in tournaments.
