What happened to the 1904 Postseason?
The would-be World Series of 1904 never took place, after owner John T. Brush of the National League Champion New York Giants refused to allow his team to participate in a series against the Boston Americans, the champions of what he deemed the ˇ°inferiorˇ± upstart American League.
But in 1905 Brush relented, and proposed making the World Series a permanent, best-of-seven affair.
