Reds Futures High School Showcase

The 14th annual Skyline Chili Reds Futures High School Showcase presented by PNC Bank will feature 88 high school baseball and softball teams from Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Dayton playing 44 games from April 5 to May 10, 2025.

Opening Day on April 5 features defending Division I state champion Mason vs. perennial power Moeller as part of a tripleheader at the University of Cincinnati’s UC Baseball Stadium.

Softball games kick off April 12 with two games at the Reds Youth Academy and April 13 with a triple-header at Mason High School.

Jackie Robinson Day on April 12 at the P&G MLB Cincinnati Reds Youth Academy will showcase 12 teams from Cincinnati Public Schools.

Opening Day for Northern Kentucky will feature Bishop Brossart vs. Covington Catholic on April 15, while four teams from the Dayton area will play at Wright State University on May 5.

Ten teams will play at Great American Ball Park on May 9 & 10 for the 10th annual Big League Weekend. Local college facilities hosting games include Xavier University (seven games), Miami University (four games), the University of Cincinnati (three games), and Wright State University (two games).

Showcase tickets are $5 each and are available at the scheduled ballpark on game days (not including Big League Weekend at GABP). With each Showcase ticket purchased, fans will receive a voucher good for one free View Level ticket to a select 2025 Reds game and a coupon good for one free Skyline Chili Cheese Coney at participating restaurants, while supplies last.

All participating Showcase teams will be invited to Great American Ball Park on Sunday, May 4 to participate in the “March at the Majors” pregame parade before the Reds vs. Washington Nationals game. The Showcase’s Most Valuable Players will receive commemorative bats during pregame ceremonies.
