Bo Jackson
Inducted 2025
Outfielder 1986-1990
One of the greatest athletes of the 20th century, Bo JacksonĄ¯s near superhuman feats made him a dual sport cultural sensation. JacksonĄ¯s remarkable blend of speed and power made him appear to have the skills of a comic book character come to life. His remarkable MVP performance at the 1989 MLB All-Star Game cemented his status as a star among stars. Bo led the Royals with a career best 32 home runs and 105 RBI during that 1989 season, then led the club again with 28 home runs in 1990. A football injury from a 1991 NFL playoff game ended his Royals career. But where injury robbed his playing days of longevity, Bo and his supreme talent delivered moments and memories few athletes will ever match.
