Who We Are
Founded as a nonprofit in 1991 to lead the ballclub*s philanthropic efforts, the Minnesota Twins Community Fund has provided more than $23 million throughout the years to support and empower youth across Twins Territory through free clinics, leagues, equipment donations, grants and more.
We believe that youth sports〞specifically baseball and softball〞change lives for the better. The games teach players about teamwork, perseverance, patience, and even failure. Through these games, we are working to create not just the next generation of great athletes, but also the next generation of great human beings.
In 2024, the Twins Community Fund was named a Project Play Champion by the Aspen Institute, which recognizes organizations across the U.S. that are leading the way to make youth sports more equitable and inclusive. We firmly believe that this game is for everyone, and our programs continue to set the standard for accessibility and quality.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Twins Community Fund and our programs are supported by our Cornerstone Partners〞Target, U.S. Bank, Treasure Island, and Nike〞and fans across Twins Territory. The Minnesota Twins Community Fund*s Tax ID is 41-1697280.
