The Angels Baseball Foundation's (ABF) Grant Program disseminates funds on a rolling basis throughout the year to organizations whose programs fall within the pillars of our organization. These include the following:
Education
Examples: Literacy, Arts, STEM, and After-School Programs
Health and Wellness
Examples: Combatting Hunger, Disease Prevention, and Clinics
Community-Related Youth Programs
Examples: Foster Care/Adoption, Homelessness, Mentorship, and Youth Services
Youth Sports
Examples: Baseball/Softball Development and Field Renovations
The ABF Grant Program looks to provide opportunities for those in our community to access educational resources, healthcare, and youth services, while also allowing them to experience the great game of baseball and its countless positive attributes.
Applicant Eligibility
- The program must fall within one or more of the ABF pillars.
- The program must be located in Southern California. Geographic priority is given to programs in Orange County.
- The grant request must be program-related. The Angels Baseball Foundation does not support capital projects.
- The request must come from an organization, not an individual.
- The organization must be certified as tax exempt under Section 501? (3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code and is not a private foundation as defined in section 509(a) of that Code. The organization must be in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the California Franchise Tax Board and the California Secretary of State.
- Organizations may receive grant funding once every two years. Denied organizations may apply once per year.
