Injury: Right thumb soreness
Expected return: Saturday or Sunday
Status: Manager Ron Washington said Moncada "passed all the tests and checked all the boxes," and is "ready to go" for Opening Day, but he was out of the starting lineup for the opener. (updated March 27) More >>
RHP Sam Bachman
Injury: Thoracic outlet syndrome
Expected return: Possibly May
Status: Bachman was placed on the IL to start the year but he doesn't need surgery and the hope is he won't need a stint on the 60-day IL. (updated March 27)
3B Anthony Rendon
Injury: Left hip surgery
Expected return: Possibly late 2025
Status: Rendon underwent left hip surgery after attempting to rehab in the offseason and is likely to miss the 2025 season. (updated Feb. 24)
RHP Robert Stephenson
Injury: Torn right ulnar collateral ligament
Expected return: Possibly July
Status: Stephenson had Tommy John surgery with a brace inserted in his elbow on May 1, 2024, and is tracking for a return by midseason. (updated Feb. 18)
