Grew up in Laval, Quebec, Canada, speaking only French...Started to learn English for baseball...Attended high school at ?cole Secondaire Georges-Vanier in Laval... 2024 marks second season as a non-roster invitee to Major League Spring Training (attended Marlins Spring Training in 2023)... Played two collegiate seasons at University of Pittsburgh... Earned All-ACC first team honors in 2016 as a sophomore, becoming first Panther in program history selected to ACC’s first team... Won 2016 ACC batting title, batting .405 (79/195) on the year... Represented Rangers in 2018 Arizona Fall League... Played for Tigres del Licey in 2022-23 Dominican Winter League... Originally signed by Rangers scout Brian Matthews.

Played 94 games with Triple-A Jacksonville in Marlins organization and hit .252 (77/305) with 12 doubles, two triples, 12 home runs and 34 RBI... Appeared defensively at second base (35 games), third base (31 games), first base (18 games) and left field (three games).

2022

Charles Leblanc made his Major League debut with the Marlins on July 30 vs. New York-NL after spending the first half of the year with Triple-A Jacksonville... Was named the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp MVP in his first season with the organization, hitting .302 with 47 runs scored, 96 hits, 20 doubles, one triple, 14 home runs and 45 RBI in 87 games before his call-up... Reached base safely in his first 13 games from July 30 - Aug. 13, batting .378 with four doubles, one home run, two RBI and two walks; marked the third longest streak in club history to begin career... Made 25 starts at second base, 13 at third base and four at first base... Hit first career home run on July 31 vs. New York-NL off Taijuan Walker... Played in eight games with Tigres del Licey in the Dominican Winter League following the season. Hit .281 with three doubles, one home run and six RBI.
