Batted .217 in 30 games for the Orioles before being placd on the disabled list on June 18...Was placed on waivers on July 28 for the purpose of giving him his unconditional release...Had three multi-hit games in his first four starts of the season, going 7-for-17 (.412)...Went 6-for-43 (.140) in 15 games with an at-bat after April 25...Made 13 starts, 11 in center field and one each in left field nd right field...Appeared in 17 games as a pinch-hitter, pinch-runner or defensive replacement...Was placed on he 15-day disabled list on June 18 with a strained left hamstring...Following his relese, signed with the AAA Richmond Braves of the Atlanta organization on August 26 and batted .136 in 7 games.
