Spent the entire season with Nashville of the Pacific Coast League (AAA) in the Milwaukee Brewers organization...Signed with the Brewers as a minor league free agent on May 14...Posted a record of 7-1 with a 3.69 ERA in 20 games, all starts...Worked 109.2 innings, his heaviest workload since tossing 134.1 innings as a member of the Milwaukee Brewers in 2007...Worked at least six innings in 10 of his 20 starts including a season high - 8.0 innings on Aug. 20 vs. Omaha...Recorded seven quality starts.

Spent the entire season with Colorado Springs of the Pacific Coast League (AAA)...Appeared in just eight games (four starts) and allowed 32 earned runs over 26.0 innings of work...Was on the disabled list from April 7-May 7 with a right hamstring strain.

Began Spring Training with Milwaukee, but was released on March 25....signed a minor league deal with the New York Mets on April 11...His contract was purchased by the Mets on May 13 and he made his first start of the season on May 14 vs. Washington...allowed just two runs over 6.1 innings, but took the loss...On three days' rest, beat the Rockies May 24, giving up just two runs in 7.0 innings...in his next start, earned the victory over Los Angeles on May 29...Worked 4.2 scoreless innings out of the 'pen on June 2, the longest relief appearance of his career...Was designated for assignment by the Mets on June 25...In nine minor league starts for Single-A Port St. Lucie (one start) and Triple-A New Orleans (eight starts), went 5-2 with a 4.10 ERA (22 ER/48.1 IP)...Was sharp for Aguilas del Cibao in the Dominican Winter League, going 3-1 with a 4.02 ERA (14 ER/31.1 IP) and 31 strikeouts in six starts this offseason...Added to the Dodgers' 40-man roster on January 5, 2009

Went 12-10 with a 4.83 ERA in 31 games (30 starts) with Arizona...Set career highs in nearly every category, including wins, starts, innings pitched (167.2) and strikeouts (123)...Produced 17 quality starts...Went 5-5 with a 5.60 ERA in 16 games (15 starts) at Chase Field and 7-5 with a 4.12 ERA in 15 road starts...Fared better in day games, going 4-3 with a 3.69 ERA in 8 starts (46.1ip, 19er)...Won 3 straight starts from 4/25-5/6, posting a 0.95 ERA during that stretch (19ip, 2er).....the 3-game winning streak tied his career high (4x)...Made his only relief appearance of the season on 5/17 vs. San Diego, tossing 2.0 scoreless innings...Was 4-2 with a 3.75 ERA in his final 10 starts (60ip, 25er)...Was traded to Milwaukee, along with C Johnny Estrada and RHP Greg Aquino, in exchange for LHP Doug Davis, LHP Dana Eveland and OF Dave Krynzel on 11/25...On 1/29/07 signed a 1-year contract, avoiding arbitration.

Pitched in 19 games, tossing 99.2 innings while collecting 88 strikeouts and issuing only 41 walks...Started the season 0-2 with 3.23 ERA over first seven starts before recording his first win of season on May 5 vs Michigan... Went 6.2 innings, struck out seven and allowed three runs in the victory... His next win came on June 4 at Cedar Rapids, his only complete game of the season and fourth of his professional career...
