Spent the entire season in Arizona's organization, splitting time between the big league club and Triple-A Reno...Across 83 games in the Majors, posted a .176 batting average (36-for-205) with 11 home runs, 28 RBI and 26 runs scored...Hit eight of his 11 home runs off left-handed pitchers...In 10 Triple-A games, batted .289 (13- for-45) with three doubles and six home runs...Had 14 RBI and 10 runs scored in those 10 games.

2021

Combined to hit .202 (33-for-163) with eight doubles, 11 homers and 28 RBI in 61 games between the Indians and Rays... On injured list with a sprained left ankle: May 28-July 30 and Aug. 18-27... Began the season with Cleveland before being traded to Tampa Bay, with RHP D.J. Johnson, for RHP Peyton Battenfield on July 30... Made his first career pitching appearance Aug. 14 @ Twins (1 ER in 1.0 IP).. Hit .326/1.021 OPS with two doubles, four homers and seven RBI in his last 15 games... Underwent surgery Oct. 10 to remove a bone spur in his left ankle... Acquired from the Rays on Nov. 26 for INF Ronny Simon.

2020

Got better as the season went along, batting .313 (10-for-32) in September with 4 2B, 1 3B, 1 HR and 5 RBI in 12 games (.389/.594/.983)...The club faced a LHP starting pitcher in just 22% of its games in 2020 (13 of 60) compared to 34% in 2019 (55/162)... Started the year 0-for-21 after being slowed in Summer Camp with lower back and hamstring soreness and was 2-for-31 over his first 11 games thru Aug. 22...From Aug. 23-end of season he posted an OPS of .864 (12 games)...Batted .270 (10-for-37) vs. LHP with 3 2B, HR, 4 RBI (.781 OPS) and .122 (5-for-41, .558 OPS) vs. RHP...Made 18 starts in LF (21 games) and 6 starts in RF (9 games)...Enjoyed his first career walk-off home run, Sept. 23 vs. Chicago-AL, a ninth inning solo shot off Gio Gonzalez that broke a 2-2 tie...His pinch-hit, 2-run double in the bottom of the 7th of G2 of the AL Wild Card Series vs. NYY marked the first pinch-hit, game-tying plate appearance in postseason club history (tied game at 8-8).

2019

Spent most of the season on the Major League roster in his first campaign in the Indians organization and was a highly effective weapon against left-handed pitching, finishing 4th in the American League with 14 homers against LHP and recorded the 4th-highest slugging pct. (.742) and on-base pct. against lefties (.439)...Season OPS vs. LHP was 1.181 and .573 vs. RHP as 25 of his 31 extra-base hits came against lefties...The OPS vs. lefties was fourth-highest in all of MLB (min. 100 PA) behind J.D. Martinez, Nelson Cruz and Alex Bregman...Overall on the year he made 32 starts in right field (42 games), 25 starts in left field (34 games) and 3 starts in center field (4 games)... Split the season between Indianapolis and Pittsburgh...Began season with Triple-A Indy...Had two home runs and five RBI on May 2 at Toledo...Produced a .330 (70-for-212) average, 31 extra-base hits, 41 RBI and 31 runs scored in 59 games between May 1-July 4...Was tied for second in the International League in doubles (22), ranked fourth in RBI (47) and fifth in extra-base hits (34) at the time of his recall to Pittsburgh on July 6...Homered twice on July 14 vs. Milwaukee (game two) while playing the entire game in left field; also had an assist...Started in left field and went 0-for-4 as the leadoff batter on July 25 at Cleveland... Overall spent four stints with Pittsburgh...Was recalled for final time on Sept. 4 and hit .196 (9-for-46) in 15 games in September...Had a career-high three hits on Sept. 12 at St. Louis...Collected seven hits in his first 16 at-bats to begin the final month before producing just two hits in his last 30 at bats...Made his first professional start in center field on Sept. 24 at Chicago (NL)...Made 16 appearances (12 starts) in left field, 11 appearances (eight starts) in right field and three appearances (one start) in center field with the Pirates...Had an appendectomy on 9/27 at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago.

Made a position change from outfield to third base while playing the entire season with West Virginia...Ranked second in the South Atlantic League in extra-base hits (51) and tied for second in runs scored...Also tied for fourth in doubles and slugging percentage...Set minor league career highs in doubles and RBI...Also swiped 11 bases in 13 attempts...Made all 86 defensive appearances at third base...Was named the league's Player-of-the-Week after hitting .382 (13-for-34) with two homers and eight RBI during the week of 8/3-10...Hit safely in 13 straight games between 8/2-15 (21-for-53, .396).

Spent first professional season with Jamestown after being selected by Pittsburgh in the third round of the FirstYear Player Draft...Was named the team's Most Valuable Player...Led all New York-Penn outfielders with 17 assists...
