As part of our ongoing commitment to provide fans with a safe and enjoyable environment at the ballpark, the Seattle Mariners have extended the protective netting. The Mariners have worked with HOK, a global architectural firm, on design and engineering for the project which improves fan safety while minimizing the impact on sightlines for those seated in the affected sections. Fans seated in Sections 115-146 will now be behind netting. The height and coverage vary by section. Netting in front of those seated in Sections 126-134 is 27-feet high. For those seated in Sections 115-125 and Sections 135-146, the netting will extend 13.5-feet above field level.

Minimized View Impacts
All of the netting at the ballpark is being replaced with state-of-the-art materials to meet the latest industry standards for safety and visibility. The lightweight, open mesh is constructed with a "knotless" technique, and is tinted green, in accordance with Major League Baseball's recommended color code, to blend into surroundings. The result enhances safety for fans seated close to the action without compromising the viewing experience.
