What to expect with Fantasy Camp
The Mariners Fantasy Camp experience includes workouts, games and instruction by Mariners alumni, as well as first-class attention by Mariners trainers and clubhouse staff. Participants will receive an authentic Mariners uniform with a custom jersey, pants, belts, socks, t-shirt and cap. View available packages & pricing.
As a camp participant, you will receive personalized baseball instruction from former Mariners who will make the camp enjoyable both on and off the field. Previous coaches and guests included Dan Wilson, Rick Rizzs, Brian Holman, Mike Moore, Arthur Rhodes, Gary Wheelock, Keith Comstock, and Jeff Schaefer.
Enjoy 7 days and 6 nights in the Valley of the Sun, with a full schedule activities, both on and off the field. All the baseball action will take place at the Peoria (Ariz.) Sports Complex, including workouts and up to 7 "games." Evening activities include a welcome reception, an awards banquet and chances to "socialize."
For those interested in additional fun and stuff, the Premier Package campers will arrive a day earlier and hit the fairways with the Mariners alumni at one of Arizona's spectacular golf courses. In addition to the golf outing, this package includes an (additional) alternate Mariners jersey, a special welcome pack and much more.

What is the Seattle Mariners Fantasy Camp?
The Seattle Mariners Fantasy Camp is the official fantasy camp of the Seattle Mariners. The camp is a perfect opportunity for Mariners baseball fans to share in the Major League Baseball playing experience they have dreamed of since childhood. The camp will take place at the Mariners spring training facility in Peoria, Arizona. Former Mariners players will serve as coaches. Campers will be assigned their own major league locker, receive a custom authentic uniform, play up to (2) two games a day, and more.
Where and when is it held?
The Seattle Mariners Fantasy Camp is held in Peoria, Arizona during the winter months. Participant Accommodations will be arranged at a local hotel and all baseball activities will be played at the Peoria Sports Complex, the Seattle Mariners home for Spring Training.
Who is eligible to attend?
Any player, male or female, 30 years of age or older is eligible to attend. Campers age 25 or older are permitted to participate if they accompany an eligible relative (parent, grandparent, etc.).
What is the level of competition?
The camp is designed for players of all capabilities and competitive spirit. Following the first day of stretching, skills clinics and an scrimmage game, the coaches will draft their teams for the week of games.
How much playing time will I get?
You can determine your playing time! Every camper will have the opportunity to play every position in the field and play up to (2) two games a day. In addition to the daily games, you will find our staff of Coaches more than happy to work with you on additional batting practice or to share other tips that can improve your game.
Who are the former Major Leaguers in camp?
Our camp staff will consist of many former Mariners players. Past camps have included appearances by Brian Holman, Keith Comstock, Mike Moore, Gary Wheelock, Arthur Rhodes, and Dan Wilson.
How much time can I expect to spend with the Coaches and are we allowed to ask for autographs and pictures?
Camp participants will have many opportunities to spend time with the coaches, both on and off the field. Campers are welcome to ask the staff for photos and autographs during their free time and away from games. A professional photographer will also be available to capture the perfect photo of you in action as well as with your coach and teammates.
What do I need to bring?
All you need to bring is your glove, cleats (rubber spikes preferred, no metal spikes) or running shoes. We will provide you with a complete home uniform, belt, socks and a fitted Cap. We will equip each team with batting helmets, catcher's gear, baseballs, etc. Additional equipment or apparel may be available for purchase at the clubhouse.
What type of bats are used at camp and are they provided?
Only wood bats will be permitted at the Seattle Mariners Fantasy Camp. The goal is to recreate that Big League experience for all of our campers and promote a safe environment. Bats will be available for purchase in a variety of lengths, styles and weights. You are certainly welcome to bring your personal bat to use at camp, but the camp cannot be responsible for personal bats broken by you or another camper during the course of play. A limited number of bats will be supplied for you to use if you did not bring your own.
What kind of clubhouse and trainer support can I expect?
Our goal is to give each camper the real Major League experience, and that means keeping you on the field and ready for the next game. Our clubhouse crew will have your uniform laundered each day and hanging in your locker each morning. Our athletic trainers will also be available to assist you in working through any injuries, aches or pains that you might encounter during the week.
Do you have baseballs and/or bats on hand for autographs?
We will have a variety of bats and baseballs available for purchase that are perfect for you to get autographs. Photos taken by our photographer will also be available for purchase and print.
Where do we stay while we are in Peoria? And what about meals?
Lodging and accommodations will be provided by Staybridge Suites in Glendale, AZ. Your registration fee includes your hotel stay. (Double occupancy for all Standard Packages and single occupancy for Premier Packages. Campers will have the opportunity to upgrade to a single occupancy room for an additional fee.) Breakfast and lunch will be provided daily. The Welcome Reception and Awards Banquet will also be included in the packages. Dinners on Monday ¨C Thursday will be left up to the individual.
Can I bring my spouse, family members or friends?
The Seattle Mariners Fantasy Camp is just as much fun for family and friends as it is for our participants! Spouses and friends are welcome to join in on the festivities, including the daily baseball activities, welcome reception and awards banquet.
What is the appropriate attire for camp?
Attire for the camp is casual, although most of your days will be spent at the fields in uniform. For the Awards Banquet, we do ask that everyone wear business casual attire as this will be a special evening of recognition and achievement. The evenings can be cool and we do recommend that you bring a light jacket or sweater with you. Walking shoes are strongly encouraged as there is a lot to explore in the Peoria area surrounding the complex.
Do campers receive any special recognition?
Absolutely! At the end of the week, coaches will award "Most Valuable Player", "Cy Young", "Gold Glove", "Rookie of the Year" and other awards.
