Mets-Willets Point 7 Train Station:

Direct one-seat ride service to Citi Field on the #7 subway line at the Mets-Willets Point Station, making station stops in Manhattan at Hudson Yards, Times Square, 5th Avenue, Grand Central Station, as well as throughout Queens.

The MTA provides extra trains after most games to ensure frequent service is available to Mets fans. Easy transfers at key Queens stations for subway customers on other lines are as follows:

Via E F M or R Trains:

Connections to the 7 can be made at the 74 Street-Broadway / Jackson Heights Roosevelt Avenue stop.

Via N or W Trains:

Transfer to the 7 at Queensboro Plaza.

Via G Train:

Crosstown service to/from Brooklyn, transfer to the 7 at Court Square.

Please be advised that due to ongoing construction at the 61 St-Woodside stop, 7 diamond/express service, including postgame “Mets Super Express,” between Queensboro Plaza and 74 Street-Broadway is not possible in either direction until further notice. Via Long Island Railroad (LIRR)

Direct LIRR service to Citi Field is available at the Mets-Willets Point Station, located a short walk across the boardwalk from the stadium towards Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Mets-Willets Point is located on the Port Washington Branch, which provides regular service from Penn Station, Grand Central Madison, Woodside, and Long Island towns east of the stadium to Port Washington. LIRR provides extra trains after games depending on demand, primarily to Penn Station via Woodside, with occasional extras to Grand Central, Port Washington or other locations.

Those traveling from Long Island or southern Queens on other branches can reach Citi Field by changing trains at Woodside, just a five-minute ride from the ballpark. Fans from New York City, New Jersey, and Westchester/Connecticut can board any Port Washington Branch train at Penn Station or Grand Central Madison, both of which are just a quick 19-minute ride away from Mets-Willets Point. Along the same line, Citi Field is reachable from the North Shore of Nassau County - just 17 minutes from Great Neck and 27 minutes from Port Washington.

Via Metro-North Railroad (MNR)

Change for the 7-train or LIRR at Grand Central Station and follow the above directions.

Via NJ Transit (NJT)

Take NJ Transit to Penn Station and transfer to LIRR. Citi Field is just two stops from Penn Station via the Port Washington LIRR line. Additionally, take any Jamaica-bound LIRR train and transfer to the 7-train at Woodside.

From Queens:

Citi Field is directly served by the Q48 with stops adjacent to the stadium on Roosevelt Avenue, as well as the Q19/66 on Northern Boulevard.

Many other bus lines connect with the 7-train line at various stations, including priority Select-Bus-Service routes: Q44 in Flushing and the Q53/70 both in Jackson Heights Numerous additional local MTA bus lines intersect the 7-train including the Q18-23-25-29-32-39-44-47-60-65-67-69-72-102-103-104 and the B24.

From Long Island:

NICE Bus Route 20G serves Downtown Flushing from Murray Hill, Bayside, Douglaston, and Great Neck. Customers can then walk or ride the 7-train one stop to Citi Field. For more information, visit nicebus.com.

From NJ/CT/Upstate:

Long-distance bus passengers transiting through Port Authority Bus Terminal can transfer easily to the subway either by walking directly to a Queens-bound 7-train in the 42nd-Times Square station, or by taking a Queens-bound E-train at 42nd-Port Authority and taking it to 74th Broadway-Jackson Heights and transferring to the 7-train there.
