Community Ticket Program

For Non-Profit & Charitable Organizations
The New York Mets are proud to support non-profit and charitable organizations located in the Tri-state area as part of Major League Baseball's Commissioner's Community Initiative. The program was designed to provide tickets to children, youth, and deserving groups who might not otherwise have a chance to attend a Mets game*.
Community Ticket Program Guidelines:
Eligibility
- To be eligible for Community Tickets, requests must range from a minimum of 25 tickets to a maximum of 150 tickets.
- A valid, everyday email address is required for consideration, as email is the primary method of communication for ticket approvals. Please ensure your email is entered correctly on the application, as errors may prevent you from receiving your tickets and could make you ineligible for the program in the future.
- Please ensure that you can redeem at least 65% of the requested tickets, as requests cannot be altered once submitted. See ˇ°Ticket Utilizationˇ± below.
- If you received Community Tickets during the 2024 season and your group did not utilize at least 65% of the tickets awarded, your ticket request will be declined.
Process
- Applicants are required to select three (3) preferred game dates, ranking them in order of preference. The Mets reserve the right to assign tickets for any of the three chosen dates. When applying, please ensure your availability for all three dates, as it is the group's responsibility to attend the game for which tickets are issued.
- Once applications are submitted, changes to game dates or ticket quantities cannot be accommodated.
Ticket Utilization
- To ensure fair access to our program and maximize community engagement, the Mets require all participating groups to meet a minimum utilization rate of 65% for their ticket redemptions.
- This means that groups must use at least 65% of the tickets they request and receive.
- Utilization is measured based on actual attendance at the event.
- If a group falls below the 65% utilization rate, they will be ineligible to receive tickets in the future.
- Exceptions may be considered for unforeseen circumstances, but approval is at the discretion of the Mets.
- Organizations that are unable to use their awarded tickets are still responsible for ensuring they can utilize the tickets allocated to them. Please review schedules, staffing requirements, transportation, and other considerations before requesting tickets. Failure to use at least 65% of the awarded tickets will impact the approval of future ticket requests.
Tickets
- Tickets must be used for the purpose outlined in the ticket request form.
- Tickets cannot be used for raffle or fundraising purposes. Groups seeking tickets to be used at a fundraiser should click here.
- Tickets rewarded through this program cannot be resold. Organizations that resell any donated tickets will be permanently ineligible for the program.
- All tickets are digital, and the Mets are unable to accommodate requests for printed tickets, regardless of any previous instances where physical tickets were provided. For details on how to receive your digital Community Tickets, please click here.
- Once tickets are awarded, they cannot be returned or exchanged for a different game.
