Build A Miracle

Homelessness and housing insecurity is a critical and pressing issue on both sides of the border. In collaboration with our charity partner, Build a Miracle, the Padres Front Office and Executive Leadership Team has actively engaged in funding, building and furnishing affordable, sustainable homes in Tijuana. The families who have benefited from our home-building program were living in the most impoverished areas of Tijuana, facing dire economic circumstances and housing conditions that are nothing short of devastating. These families reside in neighborhoods marked by extreme poverty, where access to even the most basic amenities is a daily struggle. They endure overcrowded and substandard living conditions, often lacking proper sanitation, electricity, and even structurally sound shelter. The impact of our house-building efforts on these families cannot be overstated. To date, we have constructed three homes, which have not only provided much-needed shelter but have transformed lives forever.
