Entered the season as the fifth-best prospect in the Orioles organization according to Baseball America...Went 2-2 with a 3.98 ERA and one save in 19 games (12 starts) between Triple-A Norfolk (17g, 11gs) and Rookie FCL Orioles (2g, 1gs)...the appearances in the Florida Complex League came at the end of July to help build arm strength and velocity (was in Sarasota from the middle of June to the beginning of August)...Held opponents to a .203 batting average with 78 strikeouts in 52.0 innings...Had two stints with Baltimore (4/29 and 8/26-end of season)...Went 3-0 with a 3.26 ERA in 18 relief appearances with Baltimore...Held opponents to a .237 batting average with 23 strikeouts in 19.1 innings...Made his postseason debut in the ALDS vs. Texas, making a pair of scoreless relief appearances (3.1ip, 1h, 1bb, 6k)...Was traded to Milwaukee, along with INF Joey Ortiz and a 2024 Competitive Balance Round A selection, in exchange for RHP Corbin Burnes on 2/1/24...Enters the 2024 season as the fifth-best prospect in the Brewers organization according to Baseball America.

Began the season on the Development List at Double-A Bowie; transferred to High-A Aberdeen on 4/29, Bowie on 5/5 and Triple-A Norfolk on 5/10...Recalled by Baltimore on 8/13 and made his Major League debut in a start that day at TB; suffered the loss after throwing 3.2 innings, surrendering five runs on five hits with three walks and six strikeouts; struck out the side in the second inning including striking out Christian Bethancourt swinging for his first career strikeout...Optioned to Norfolk on 8/14; recalled on 9/1 and finished the year in the big leagues...Had a 3.60 ERA (4 ER/10.0 IP) as an MLB reliever; three of those runs came on 9/5 (G1) vs. TOR...Pitched to a 1.04 ERA (1 ER/8.2 IP) in his final eight MLB appearances of the season...Registered his first save on 9/30 at NYY, pitching one perfect inning with two strikeouts...Earned his first win on 10/5 (G1) vs. TOR, spinning one scoreless inning with two hits and two strikeouts...Went 3-8 with a 4.48 ERA (42 ER/84.1 IP) with 67 hits, 49 total runs, 10 homers, 50 walks, two hit batters, and 137 strikeouts in 24 combined MiLB games (20 GS)...Ranked third in the International League with 125 strikeouts before being recalled on 9/1...His first 20 appearances in the Minors were starts before moving to the Norfolk bullpen; posted a 4.05 ERA (3 ER/6.2 IP) in four games as a reliever with the Tides...Named IL Pitcher of the Week for the week of 7/11 after tossing a combing 10.2 scoreless innings over two starts, striking out a total of 18 batters.

Made seven starts for Double-A Bowie, posting a 3.13 ERA (11 ER/31.2 IP) with 56 strikeouts...Allowed 16 hits and 16 walks on the season, while posting a 1.01 WHIP...Struck out a season-high-tying 10 batters (4.1 IP) in his first start of the season on 5/4 at Altoona...Struck out at least seven batters in six of his seven outings...Missed the second half of the season with a stress reaction in his left elbow...Participated in the clubs instructional league camp in Sarasota, Fla. following the season...Added to the 40-man roster on 11/19.
