Trevor James Hauver…selected by the New York Yankees in the third round of the 2020 MLB Draft after playing three years at Arizona State University from 2018-20… batted .317/.426/.537/.964 (119-376) with 18 home runs and 77 RBI over 116 games as an outfielder at ASU…during the brief 2020 season, he led the nation with 20 BB in 17 G before the campaign was cut short…was college teammates with Spencer Torkelson, the first overall pick in the 2020 Draft, and Hunter Bishop, a Giants prospect…played three seasons of varsity baseball at Perry High School in Gilbert, Ariz., batting .393 with 15 HR and 97 RBI…was selected in the 37th round of the 2017 MLB Draft by Kansas City but did not sign, electing to attend ASU.

2024

Spent the season with Round Rock (AAA), his first at the Triple-A level, hitting .246/.360/.425/.785 (87-353) with 11 home runs, 28 doubles, 60 RBI, and 59 walks in 104 games…marked his third straight season eclipsing the century mark in games played…his 28 doubles signaled a career high and ranked 8th in the Pacific Coast League…ranked 4th on the Express in homers, RBI and walks…reached safely in 21 consecutive contests from 8/23-9/19, batting .382/.505/.671/1.176 (29-76) with four home runs, 10 doubles and 20 RBI during that stretch and raising his season batting avg. from .212 to .249…on-base streak included a season-long 10-game hit streak from 9/8- 9/19…all 11 of his home runs came off right-handed pitching (.263 AVG, .864 OPS); owned a .195 average and .545 OPS vs. southpaws…made majority of his appearances in left field (69 G/66 GS) while also logging starts in right field (27 G/26 GS) and at DH (9 G/8 GS).

2023

Returned to Frisco (AA) and batted .260/.374/.429/.803 (102-392) with 12 HR, three 3B, 24 2B, and 59 RBI over 107 games… ranked among TL leaders in 2B (T7th) and BB (8th, 71)…saw far better results vs. RHP (.284 BA/.876 OPS) than LHP (.155 BA/.467 OPS)…hit .232/.356/.333/.689 (25-108) over first 32 games, but slashed .271/.382/.465/.847 (77-284) over final 75 games (beg. 5/25)…on IL from 9/6-end of season with lat tightness…made starts at RF (38), LF (21), DH (21) and 3B (1).

2022

Combined to slash .220/.387/.427/.814 (74-337) with career highs in HR (17) and RBI (70-tied) over 103 games between Hickory (A+) and Frisco (AA) in his first full season in the Rangers system… worked walks in 93 of 447 (20.8%) PA, the 4th-highest BB% among MiLB batters (min. 400 PA)…appeared in 16 games for the 2022 Arizona Fall League-Champion Surprise Saguaros, slashing .200/.412/.400/.812 (10-50) with three HR and 12 RBI.

2021

Batted .274/.416/.473/.889 (96-351) with 15 HR and 70 RBI in 99 games for Low-A Tampa (NYY) and High-A Hickory (TEX)…acquired by TEX from NYY, along with infielders Josh Smith and Ezequiel Duran and RHP Glenn Otto, in exchange for OF Joey Gallo, LHP Joely Rodríguez and cash on 7/29…began his Texas organization tenure with a 24-game on-base streak from 7/31-8/29 after moving up a level following the trade…played only second base in the Yankees organization before splitting time between second base and left field upon joining Hickory…was rated among top Yankees prospects by MLB.com (pre-season 23rd) and Baseball America (22nd).
