Went 1-5 with a save and a 5.48 ERA in 18 games, including 16 starts, with Double-A Midland in a season shortened by a seven-week stay on the injured list with a sprained right elbow ¡ also made two rehab starts with the A¡¯s ACL affiliate and was 1-5 with a 5.40 ERA in 20 games, 18 starts, overall. Struck out 93 batters in 71.2 innings, an average of 11.68 per nine innings¡tied for seventh in the A¡¯s farm system in strikeouts. Yielded a career-high nine home runs. Allowed a .238 opponents batting average, which broke down to .222 (34-for-153) against right-handed hitters and .258 (31-for-120) against left-handers.
