Finished 10-7 with a 5.01 ERA (66 ER/118.2 IP) and team-high 124 strikeouts over 26 starts for Double-A Frisco¡ranked among Texas organization pitching leaders in innings (second), starts (second), wins (second), and strikeouts (third), registering career bests in each of those categories...went 6-6, 6.26 ERA (54 ER/77.2 IP) over his first 19 GS, but closed by going 4-1, 2.63 ERA (12 ER/41.0 IP) over final seven GS...struck out a season-high 11 batters over 5.1 innings of work against on 6/17 vs, Midland, one of three outings in which he recorded 10+ SO¡proved more effective against LHB (.226 BA) than RHB (.302 BA).

Named a Texas Organizational All-Star by MiLB. com in first professional action¡combined to go 6-4, 4.11 ERA (44 ER/96.1 IP) in 20 starts for Frisco (AA) and Hickory (A+)...led all Texas farmhands with 128 strikeouts and hurled 2nd-most innings (96.1) in the system (102.2-Nick Krauth)¡ began season with Hickory šC going 4-4, 4.23 ERA (29 ER/61.2 IP) in 13 starts šC and found even more success upon an 8/1 promotion to Frisco šC going 2-0, 3.89 (15 ER/34.2 IP) in seven starts.
