2022

Began the season on the 10-day IL (right shoulder strain)…made two rehab apps for Triple-A Charlotte…reinstated by the White Sox on April 29 and made 8 apps before his release on June 13.

2021

Made 34 appearances over three stints with the White Sox… set career bests in ERA (2.45), strikeouts (33), IP (36.2),appearances (34) and opponents average (.224)....Went 2-0 with a 1.26 ERA (2 ER/14.1 IP) in 12 games (one start) at Guaranteed Rate Field....His contract was selected from Charlotte on 5/27....Opened the season on an 11-game, 14.0-scoreless IP streak from 5/31-7/3 … allowed just two hits (both singles) with five walks and 10 strikeouts during the streak....Made his season debut on 5/31-2 at Cleveland and retired all four batters he faced … marked his first MLB appearance since5/24/19 at Minnesota (Tommy John surgery)....Worked a scoreless 10th on 6/16 vs. Tampa, stranding a runner on third, to earn his first win of 2021 and second career....Earned his first career hold on 6/23 at Pittsburgh, retiring the only batter he faced in the sixth inning....Made his second career start as the opener on 6/27 vs. Seattle, retiring al...six batters faced with two strikeouts....His season-opening scoreless streak ended on 7/5 at Minnesota (2 ER/1.0 IP)....Earned his second win of the season on 7/20 vs. Minnesota after suffering his first career blown save … allowed two runs in the eighth but the Sox scored five in the bottom of the frame....Was optioned to Charlotte on 7/30 and recalled on 8/16 …made three appearances from 8/17-22 before being optioned a second time on 8/24 … was recalled for the final time on 9/3....Finished the season on a 10-game scoreless streak … struck out 12 batters in 10.0 IP during the streak....Posted his third and final hold of the season on 9/24 at Cleveland, tossing 0.2 scoreless IP to preserve a 1-0 lead....Recorded at least one strikeout in each of his last six appearances (10 strikeouts total).

Was limited to 16 appearances with the Sox due to two stints on the injured list, including season-ending Tommy John surgery...Struck out 20 in 19.2 IP (one in 12 of his 16 outings)...Made his first career Opening Day roster…made his season debut on OD (3/28) at Kansas City (2 ER/0.2 IP)...Earned his first major-league win on 4/5 vs. Seattle, working 1.1 scoreless IP...Was on the 10-day injured list from 4/25-5/5 with A/C joint inflammation in his right shoulder…worked 1.0 scoreless IP on 5/6 at Cleveland...Made his first career start on 5/20 at Houston as part of a "bullpen day" for the White Sox…suffered the loss after allowing one unearned run over 2.0 IP…the start marked his first since 2/28/14 vs. Gonzaga while playing for Arizona State...Was placed on the 10-day IL on 5/28 (retro to 5/25) with a right elbow capsule strain…underwent season-ending Tommy John surgery on 6/25…was transferred to the 60-day IL on 7/8. 

2018

Spent most of the season with Class AA Birmingham and Class AAA Charlotte before making eight appearances with the White Sox...His contract was purchased from Charlotte on 8/22 … made his major-league debut on 8/23 at Detroit, working 1.1 perfect IP with two strikeouts … struck out Mikie Mahtook to end the seventh inning for the first of his career...Worked 2.0 scoreless IP with two strikeouts on 9/23 vs. theCubs...Combined to go 4-3 with a 2.45 ERA (14 ER/51.1 IP), two saves, 51 strikeouts and a .190 (34-179) opponents average over 37 combined appearances with Birmingham and Charlotte...Held right-handers to a .171 (19-111) average, including an 0-14 mark with the Knights... Did not allow an earned run over his final 14 appearances (20.1 IP) with the Barons before being promoted to Charlotte on 7/27.
