Made his MLB Debut on August 11 vs. New York-NL, tossing a scoreless ninth inning with one walk and two strikeouts. In his first 11 appearances had a 0.87 ERA (1 ER, 10.1 IP), three walks, 12 strikeouts. Recorded first career save on Sept. 27 vs Oakland, tossing a scoreless ninth inning with one hit and two strikeouts. Ranked 3rd in all of the Minor Leagues in saves with 21, earning five saves with High-A Everett and 16 with Double-A Arkansas. Began the season with High-A Everett, going 0-1 with five saves and a 1.17 ERA (2 ER, 12.0 IP) with five walks and 14 strikeouts in 11 appearances...was promoted to Double-A Arkansas going 3-3 with 16 saves and a 1.17 ERA (4 ER, 30.2 IP) with nine walks and 31 strikeouts in 29 appearances.
