Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation now accepting applications for 2023 Globe Life Baseball and Softball Grant Program
Texas Rangers, Globe Life, and Bally Sports Southwest continue partnership to help nonprofit youth baseball and softball programs across five-state territory; Applications accepted through Friday, June 30, 2023; Apply online at texasrangers.com/grants
Arlington, Texas**¡ª** For the 12th consecutive year, Globe Life and the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation will partner to provide grants to baseball and softball programs across Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
The Texas Rangers Globe Life Baseball and Softball Grant Program is designed to grow youth baseball and softball throughout the Rangers' five-state territory. Grants can be used for equipment, uniforms, construction projects, field renovations, league development, or other initiatives that help grow baseball and softball in that community.
Nonprofit organizations are encouraged to complete the grant application proposal at texasrangers.com/grants describing how their youth baseball or softball program can benefit from funding. Winners are selected based on need and the ability of the proposed program to improve youth baseball and softball programming in that area.
In 2022, Globe Life and the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation awarded $100,000 to 12 nonprofit organizations in Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. Since its inception in 2012, the grant program has donated over $850,000 to more than 100 organizations helping countless communities in need.
As part of its naming rights partnership with the Rangers, Globe Life has made a substantial commitment to support the growth of youth baseball and softball by joining the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation in the grant program.
Bally Sports Southwest helps to promote the Globe Life Baseball and Softball Grant Program throughout the Rangers' five-state television territory.
