Arlington, Texas¡ª For the second consecutive season, the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation and American Airlines welcome San Diego-based military members to Dallas-Fort Worth today for an unforgettable experience at Globe Life Field as part of the Suites for Servicemen and Women program.
The Rangers Foundation, American Airlines, and Texas Rangers first baseman Nathaniel Lowe, whose donation to the Rangers Foundation directly supports the program, will host over 70 Marines, Sailors, and their guests for a two-day trip that includes tonight¡¯s Rangers-Angels game and an exclusive tour of the George W. The military members and their guests will arrive at Globe Life Field¡¯s TXU Energy North Plaza Entrance to a Texas-sized welcome from Rangers mascot Captain, the Six Shooters, and Rangers front office members, before heading to the field to watch batting practice at approximately 4:15 p.m., where they will meet Texas Rangers players and coaches, including Lowe.
Following their unique pre-game experience, all military members and their guests will watch the game from Lexus Club Field Suites, generously donated by the suite holders.
American Airlines will charter the Airbus A321 Flagship Valor aircraft to and from San Diego, which pays tribute to Medal of Honor recipients with a unique exterior wrap that depicts major military conflicts and the six characteristics that embody the Medal of Honor and those who have received it.
