Senior Vice President, Finance
Starr Gulledge was promoted to Sr. Vice President, Finance in January 2020. She is in her 28th season in the Texas Rangers Finance and Accounting Department after joining the organization in June 1997. She currently manages a staff of twelve and is involved with all accounting, treasury, and finance operations for the Texas Rangers and REV Entertainment, including the construction of Globe Life Field, the Rangers Dominican Academy, the Spring Training complex in Surprise, Arizona, and the planning for the 2024 All-Star Game.
In addition to her duties with the Texas Rangers, she is involved with other entities within the Rangers Baseball Express family including the Rangers Baseball Foundation, Texas Rangers Baseball Real Estate, REV Entertainment and other REV entities, as well as serving as assistant controller for the Dallas Stars from 1999-2004.
Starr brings over 40 years of experience in the accounting industry to her role. The New Orleans native graduated from Irving High School in Irving, Texas. She received a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Texas-Arlington.
Starr and her husband Chuck, reside in Weatherford and share three sons, Kelley, Rhett and Clay, a daughter, Amanda and six grandsons, ranging from 14 years of age to a 1 year old.
