Educational Tours - Frequently Asked Questions
What is the cost for the Learning Through Baseball Tour and Kids Tour?
- LTB Baseball will remain $15 per student and Kids tours $13 per student.
- For every 25 students, the group will receive three complimentary chaperones.
- Each additional chaperone is $15.
What is the best way to pay for the tour?
- Your group will receive an invoice with the payment total, which can be paid directly through the online payment system with all major credit cards.
- If you wish to send a check please mail check to 1 Twins Way, Minneapolis, MN 55403 - Attn: Tours Department.
- We do not accept payment via Money Orders.
How many class subjects can my students attend during the tour?
- We only allow one class subject per visit.
What happens if our group pays for more students than visit the ballpark?
- For any students paid for who do not attend, your group will receive that many credits for a future tour. For example, of 100 students are paid for but only 90 are in attendance, your group will receive 10 student credits for a future visit. Good for up to one year.
Are there restrooms for ADA students/students with disabilities available within the ballpark?
- Yes
Is there a designated space for teachers/chaperones to nurse during the tour if needed?
- Yes
Is the home clubhouse available to visit during the season?
- No, the home clubhouse if off limits to all visitors during the baseball season.
Is the visiting clubhouse available to visit during the season?
- Yes, but only on non-game days.
Do you provide parking for school buses?
- Parking is provided through the city of Minneapolis. Please use the following link to learn more about parking options: HERE. We recommend that you secure parking for school buses as soon as possible.
Do bus drivers get in free of charge?
- No, bus drivers do not get in free of charge, unless they happen to also be a chaperone for the group.
Do paraprofessionals get special discount?
- Yes, please make a note of this on your reservation form, including number of paraprofessionals and specifics.
Is the ballpark ADA compliant /can students in wheelchairs get onto the warning track/into dugouts?
- Yes, our ballpark and tours are fully ADA compliant.
If a student is visually or hearing impaired, are they still able to attend a tour?
- Yes
Do you provide clothing if kids have an accident/spill/are sick?
- No, we recommend that you bring your own gender-neutral clothing in the event of an accident.
We have parents/guardians chaperones driving separately, where do they park?
- We recommend parents/guardians use our nearby parking ramps. Ramp A (closest to the ballpark), Ramp B, or Ramp C.
In the event of bad weather are tours cancelled?
- No, tours will run rain or shine.
Do you provide lunch/can we eat lunch at Target Field?
- We are unable to provide lunch, but you are welcomed to bring bagged lunches and eat on Target Field Plaza (this an outdoor space with accessible restrooms).
Can my students bring backpacks/bags on the tour?
- Students are not permitted to bring backpacks/bags on the tour with the exception of medical bags.
