Cubs reach agreement on Minor League deal with righty Flexen (source)

Right-hander Chris Flexen has agreed to a Minor League contract with the Cubs, a source told MLB.com's Mark Feinsand. The club has not confirmed the deal, which is pending a physical.
The 30-year-old pitched a team-high 160 innings in 2024 for the White Sox. He went 3-15 with a 4.95 ERA with 123 strikeouts and 63 walks for a club that lost 121 games.
A seven-year veteran, Flexen owns a career 4.95 ERA in 153 games (110 starts).
