The Dodgers tendered contracts to their six players who are eligible for salary arbitration -- Cody Bellinger, Corey Seager, Walker Buehler, Julio Urías, Austin Barnes and Dylan Floro before Wednesday¡¯s deadline to do so.
In addition, the Dodgers signed left-hander Scott Alexander, who had been eligible for arbitration, to a one-year, $1 million contract earlier in the day. Alexander had a 2.92 ERA in 12 1/3 innings over 13 games.
All remaining unsigned players on the Dodgers¡¯ 40-man roster also were tendered contracts for the 2021 season.

The Dodgers will now try to work out deals with their six arbitration-eligible players. If they cannot reach an agreement by Jan. 15, the player and team must each submit a salary figure for the upcoming season and a hearing is scheduled for February.
If they still can¡¯t come to an agreement by the time of the hearing, a panel of arbitrators listens to each side¡¯s case and then selects one of the two salary figures (nothing in between) as the player¡¯s salary for the upcoming season.
Seager can become a free agent following the 2021 season. Alexander and Barnes are eligible for free agency after the ¡¯22 season. Bellinger and Ur¨ªas are under Dodgers contractual control through ¡¯23 and Buehler through ¡¯24.
