Vice President, Philanthropy
Mari Glass joined the Astros in January 2025 as Vice President, Philanthropy. She brings over 10 years of experience in the non-profit and fundraising space.
Mari joined the Astros after serving as the Vice President and Senior Consultant for the Trevi?o Consulting Group since 2017. In her role she worked directly with a portfolio of clients to help them advance and implement their strategic goals through board development advisement, fundraising, special events consultation, marketing and advocacy. A large part of her role was working with an organization’s senior leadership teams to serve as a liaison during the entirety of the consulting engagement.
Mari began her work in development in 2014 at Fund for Teachers as a Development and Special Events Officer. In that role she developed and executed annual fundraising plans to increase contributions from all revenue sources, including foundations, individuals and corporations.
Mari received a Master of Arts in Nonprofit Management in 2017 from the University of Houston-Downtown and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas. She has extensive experience in Board governance, Campaign planning and execution, fundraising database systems, annual fund, and special events fundraising.
Her most important role is being a mom to Benjamin and Vivienne. Mari and her husband, Bryan, spend their time with their two children, Cuatro (dog), and Toulouse and Jacques (cats.)
