Cardinals announce 2025 regular season TV & radio broadcast schedule

ST. LOUIS, Mo., March 13, 2025 ¨C The St. Louis Cardinals today announced that every 2025 regular season game will be televised locally or nationally, broadcast on the radio via KMOX and the Cardinals Radio Network and digitally streamed on FanDuel Sports Network. Additionally, all 81 home games will feature live Spanish radio broadcasts.
Television
The newly re-branded FanDuel Sports Network will be the television home of the Cardinals for the 32nd season. The regional sports network is scheduled to televise 151 Cardinals regular season games. Coverage starts and ends with the Cardinals Live pre- and postgame shows, live from the network¡¯s studio in Ballpark Village. FanDuel Sports Network¡¯s regular season coverage kicks off on Opening Day, Thursday, March 27 with Cardinals Live pregame beginning at 1:30 PM and will include the pregame ceremonies and team introductions.
Chip Caray returns for his third season as the play-by-play voice of Cardinals television broadcasts and will be joined by World Series champion Brad Thompson and former Cardinals outfielder Mark Sweeney as analysts to call game action.
Jim Hayes and Alexa Datt return as reporters, while Datt and Scott Warmann will be hosts of Cardinals Live. Former Cardinals pitcher Al Hrabosky (42nd season as part of the Cardinals TV team), Ricky Horton, and three-time Cardinals Gold Glove Award winner Tom Pagnozzi will serve as pre- and postgame studio analysts, along with Sweeney and Thompson.
Currently, 11 regular season games will be carried exclusively on either FOX (April 19, July 19, Aug. 9, Aug. 16 & Sept. 6), ESPN (April 6), Apple TV+ (May 9, May 23 & June 27), or Roku (June 1 & June 29) as part of Major League Baseball¡¯s national television packages. The television schedule is subject to change.
FanDuel Sports Network will also continue to air new episodes of Cardinals Insider, the Emmy-nominated 30-minute weekly television program hosted by Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith each Sunday, and the weekly Cardinals Kids Show with Fredbird and Brad Thompson on Saturdays.
FanDuel Sports Network is available on cable, satellite, and streaming TV providers throughout the Cardinals television footprint. Options include Charter Spectrum, Comcast Xfinity, Cox, DIRECTV, DIRECTV STREAM, Fubo, Mediacom and U-verse TV.
Streaming
For the first time, fans in the team¡¯s broad TV footprint can watch the Cardinals on FanDuel Sports Network¡¯s direct-to-consumer streaming service designed to make games more accessible with no local blackouts. The direct-to-consumer option is available for purchase with monthly ($19.99), Season Pass (starting at $99.99 on March 20) and annual ($189.99) subscription options.
With a direct-to-consumer subscription, fans will receive all content and programming available on FanDuel Sports Network within their zip code. This includes Cardinals games, St. Louis Blues games and more. Fans can enjoy 30 days free of Cardinals baseball on FanDuel Sports Network with the code CARDS30DAY. To redeem, local fans can visit FanDuelSportsNetwork.com/packages, enter their zip code, select the monthly package and apply the code at checkout.
Cardinals programming on FanDuel Sports Network also streams on the FanDuel Sports Network app and on FanDuelSportsNetwork.com for fans who sign-in with their TV provider login and password. The FanDuel Sports Network app is available for download on Apple and Android devices and through a number of connected device platforms and Smart TVs.
Also new this season, Amazon Prime customers can subscribe to stream FanDuel Sports Network through Prime Video as an add-on subscription for $19.99 per month.
Over-The-Air TV
Earlier this month, the Cardinals announced a new partnership with Gray Media, KMOV 4, and Matrix Midwest to bring fans over-the-air baseball for the first time in over 15 years.
As part of the agreement, the Cardinals and Gray Media will simulcast at least 10 games with FanDuel Sports Network on KMOV channel 4 and Matrix Midwest in St. Louis (channel 32 over-the-air and channel 6 on Spectrum cable), and on Gray-owned or syndicated third-party television stations in Cape Girardeau, Springfield, MO, Springfield, IL, Memphis, Jonesboro, Rockford, Peoria, Quincy, Evansville, Sioux City, Cedar Rapids, Ottumwa, Davenport, and Rochester/Mason City.
The St. Louis and regional television stations will air the following games with additional games to be announced at a later date:
- Friday, April 11 vs. Philadelphia Phillies 7:15 PM on KMOV Channel 4 and Matrix Midwest
- Friday, April 25 vs. Milwaukee Brewers 7:15 PM on Matrix Midwest
- Friday, May 16 at Kansas City Royals 6:40 PM on Matrix Midwest
- Friday, May 30 at Texas Rangers 7:05 PM on KMOV Channel 4 and Matrix Midwest
- Friday, June 6 vs. Los Angeles Dodgers 7:15 PM on KMOV Channel 4 and Matrix Midwest
- Friday, June 20 vs. Cincinnati Reds 6:15 PM on Matrix Midwest
Radio
In addition to televised game coverage, KMOX, the team¡¯s flagship radio station, and nearly all of the Cardinals Radio Network stations, will carry every regular season game on 1120 AM. Further expanding the reach of Cardinals baseball, games can now also be heard on 104.1 KMOX FM beginning March 24 and will continue to stream on KMOX.com and the Audacy app.
This year marks KMOX¡¯s 15th consecutive season as the flagship station and 68th year overall. The Cardinals Radio Network consists of 158 radio stations across nine states, including recently added station affiliates in Tulsa, OK, St. Joseph, MO, Pine Bluff, AR, Hopkinsville, KY, and for the first time ever in Alabama (Florence).
John Rooney (20th season in St. Louis, 54th overall) will be accompanied in the booth by Ricky Horton (27th year as a Cardinals broadcaster) and Mike Claiborne (20th year as part of the radio team) for all Cardinals contests this year. Matt Pauley, Joe Pott and Tom Ackerman will serve as pre- and postgame hosts on KMOX.
Horton and Claiborne will also continue to host Friday Night Live by Loews after every Friday Night home game from The Bullock on the second floor of the Live! by Loews hotel across from Busch Stadium. The show features live guests, including former Cardinals players, coaches, managers, front office staff and broadcasters, beginning 15 minutes following the final out on KMOX 1120 AM and the Cardinals Radio Network. The show is open for fans to visit, hang out and listen to the show free of charge.
Spanish Radio
The Cardinals, in cooperation with the team¡¯s flagship Spanish radio station WIJR 880 AM La Tremenda, will once again produce Spanish-language radio broadcasts for all St. Louis home games for the club¡¯s Spanish Radio Network during the 2025 regular season.
Play-by-play announcer Polo Ascencio and World Series champion Bengie Molina return for their 10th season. All 81 home broadcasts air locally on WIJR 880 AM, the nine Cardinals Spanish Radio Network affiliates, SiriusXM Radio, and streamed via cardinals.com, the MLB app, and on the La Tremenda 880 app.
Fans can also tune to Secondary Audio Program (SAP) on FanDuel Sports Network or on the FanDuel Sports Network app to hear Polo and Bengie¡¯s Spanish-language radio broadcasts on their TV for most home telecasts.
