In-Kind Donations
Each year, the Marlins donate autographed memorabilia and ticket certificates in an effort to support charitable organizations that positively impact our community. We are unable to contribute to monetary donation requests or provide monetary sponsorships. Due to the high volume of requests we receive and limited inventory, the following guidelines must be followed in order to be considered for an in-kind item.
- The online donation form must be filled out completely in order for your request to be considered. This includes submitting attachments such as a formal request letter, auction request form and event flyer/brochure. Description should include a brief explanation of the organization, the event and how proceeds will be used.
- Organizations must be a non-profit 501(c)(3) entity.
- Your request for an item must be submitted via the online donation form and must be received at least four (4) weeks prior to your event. If your event does not meet this deadline, it will be automatically declined due to the high volume of requests.
- Your organization must not have already received a donation during the current calendar year of your event. An organization is eligible to receive only one donated item per year.
- Due to limited resources, we are only able to support organizations in Broward, Miami Dade, Palm Beach, and Monroe Counties. We are not able to accommodate out-of-area requests.
- Submitting a request does not guarantee a donation. Donations are at the discretion of the Miami Marlins.
- We are unable to place follow-up calls regarding each donation request. If you have not received an item within two weeks of your event, please email the In-Kind Program at [email protected].
- Donations are in the form of autographed memorabilia and ticket certificates. For those interested in block tickets, please contact [email protected].
- Donations are for charitable purposes only (e.g., auctions and raffles). We do not provide sales incentives, employee appreciation events, corporate gifts, or donations to for-profit entities or individuals.
- Organizations which receive an item must complete an online reply form after the event, including the amount the item raised for the event, to be considered for future requests.
- Previous in-kind donation recipients are not guaranteed a donation in subsequent years.
Thank you for considering the Miami Marlins. We wish you the best in your charitable and fundraising efforts!
