Play-by-Play Announcer

Bally Sports Florida¡¯s Paul Severino enters his seventh season as the TV play-by-play voice of the Marlins in 2024. He won regional Emmy Awards in 2022 for his season-long coverage and for the Marlins¡¯ Dominican Heritage Night broadcast.

Severino joined the broadcast from MLB Network, where he served as play-by-play announcer for game telecasts, including MLB Network Showcase and the World Baseball Classic. During his seven years there, he hosted every studio show in MLB Network's lineup, highlighted by the Emmy Award-winning ¡°MLB Tonight.¡± Severino¡¯s broadcast experience extends beyond the diamond, having been a studio host and play-by-play announcer for NHL Network. Prior to that, he served as an anchor and host across ESPN¡¯s programming, including anchoring ¡°SportsCenter,¡± ESPNews and ESPN.com.

He is a Bristol, Connecticut native and proud graduate of Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts.

Analyst

Bally Sports Florida¡¯s Tommy Hutton enters his 26th season on Marlins broadcasts in 2024. The Emmy Award-winning Hutton¡¯s coverage of the team dates back to 1997 and includes four seasons on the ¡°Marlins Live¡± pregame/postgame set. This will be Hutton¡¯s 21st season in the Marlins TV booth, which he rejoined in 2022 as part of a rotation of in-game analysts.

A Los Angeles native, Hutton made his Major League debut for his hometown Dodgers in 1966 and was named to the 1972 Topps MLB All-Rookie team. He played 12 seasons as an infielder/outfielder for the Dodgers, Phillies, Blue Jays and Expos. He had previous broadcast stints with the Expos, Yankees and Blue Jays and has also appeared on national telecasts for ESPN, ABC and NBC. Hutton resides in Palm Beach Gardens and is a Palm Beach County Sports Hall of Fame inductee.

Analyst (TV and Radio)

Rod Allen heads into his third season as a Marlins analyst on Bally Sports Florida and the Marlins Radio Network in 2024. He works both in the booth and on Bally Sports' "Marlins Live" pregame/postgame coverage. A winner of multiple Emmy Awards, Allen previously spent 16 years calling Detroit Tigers games after a five-year run on Arizona Diamondbacks broadcasts. He has also provided analysis on Fox Game of the Week regional telecasts.

A Los Angeles native, Allen was an outfielder/DH for Seattle, Detroit and Cleveland in the 1980s before finishing his playing career in Japan. He played in 15 games for the Tigers¡¯ 1984 World Series champion team and set a Japanese regular-season record by homering in four consecutive at-bats. Allen worked as a minor league hitting instructor in the Marlins organization from 1992-95 before starting his broadcasting career.

Analyst (TV and Radio)

Jeff Nelson returns for a third season as an in-game analyst on Bally Sports Florida in 2024. He also serves as an analyst on the ¡°Marlins Live¡± pregame/postgame shows, a role he has held since 2016, and works as a color analyst on the Marlins Radio Network. In addition to his Marlins coverage, Nelson broadcasts Yankees games for YES Network and WFAN. He has also worked as an analyst for MLB.com and a host on SiriusXM's MLB Network Radio.

A Baltimore native, Nelson spent 15 seasons as a Major League reliever and won four World Series titles as a member of the Yankees. He also had three stints with the Mariners and represented Seattle in the 2001 All-Star Game.

Analyst (TV and Radio)

Gaby S¨¢nchez begins his third season as an in-game analyst on Bally Sports Florida in 2024. He has been with the network since 2018 and also serves as a ¡°Marlins Live¡± pregame/postgame analyst and host of ¡°Marlins All-Access,¡± an award-winning show that takes fans behind the scenes with the team. The Emmy Award-winning S¨¢nchez also works as an analyst on the Marlins Radio Network and covers Atlantic Coast Conference baseball for ESPN.

A Miami native, S¨¢nchez starred at the University of Miami and then spent parts of five seasons playing first base for the Marlins (2008-12) before finishing his Major League career with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He represented the Marlins at the 2011 All-Star Game.

Pre/Postgame Host & In-Game Reporter

Bally Sports Florida¡¯s Craig Minervini begins his 23rd season as a pregame/postgame host for Marlins games. A three-time Emmy Award winner, Minervini also serves as a host for Florida Panthers coverage on Bally Sports Florida and has contributed to coverage of the Miami HEAT and the Orange Bowl Basketball Classic.

Minervini¡¯s broadcast experience includes play-by-play for Notre Dame football on NBC and work for CBS Sports Spectacular, ESPN college football, Major League Soccer, the XFL, mixed martial arts, boxing and even World Wrestling Entertainment. The Huntington, New York, native earned a broadcast journalism degree from Syracuse University. He resides in Hallandale Beach, and in his spare time can be seen at local ice rinks serving as a USA Hockey Of?cial.

Pre/Postgame Host & In-Game Reporter

Bally Sports Florida¡¯s Jessica Blaylock is entering her tenth season covering the Miami Marlins in 2024 and has been an in-game reporter and host on Marlins television broadcasts since 2016. She has also worked as a host/reporter covering the Florida Panthers since 2016 and has won regional Emmy Awards for both baseball and hockey coverage.

Blaylock previously covered the Orlando Magic and Jacksonville Jaguars, giving her experience in covering all four major sports. She attended the University of Florida, where she earned degrees in both journalism and history. After graduating, she began her career as an operations assistant with ESPN, working on college football, college basketball, and NASCAR shows. She joined the Bally Sports Florida (then Fox Sports Florida) family in 2009. She resides in Fort Lauderdale.

In-Game Reporter, Show Host and Radio Analyst

Kelly Saco has been an in-game reporter on Marlins television broadcasts since 2018 and also works as a color analyst on the Marlins Radio Network and host and producer of the popular "Marlins Clubhouse" magazine-style program on Bally Sports Florida. Saco, who won the regional Emmy Award for sports talent in 2022, also serves as a host and courtside reporter for Miami Heat games on Bally Sports Sun.

Saco attended Syracuse University on a softball scholarship, and after graduating from the Newhouse School of Public Communications, she began her career as a production assistant with Bally Sports Florida (then Fox Sports Florida). She resides in South Miami.

Digital Host/Reporter

Jeremy Tach¨¦ enters his fourth season covering the Marlins for Bally Sports Florida on social media and on his ¡°Miami Mic¡¯d Up¡± podcast. He is also a regular contributor to the network¡¯s popular ¡°Marlins Clubhouse¡± show.

Raised in Weston, the University of Central Florida graduate also works as a host and courtside reporter for Miami Heat broadcasts on Bally Sports Sun and as a freelance producer/editor for Meadowlark Media. Tach¨¦ began his career as a sports associate producer for WSVN-7 in Miami. He resides in Fort Lauderdale.

Play-by-Play Announcer (Radio)

Kyle Sielaff enters his 12th season with the Marlins Radio Network, and he¡¯s entering year two as the lead play-by-play voice of the franchise. Sielaff¡¯s recognizable voice previously hosted Marlins On Deck, as well as the Marlins Inside Corner radio program and team podcasts, in addition to calling select Marlins spring training and regular season games.

Hailing from Trumansburg, N.Y., he graduated from the University of Miami with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Sports Administration, calling select games for Miami Hurricanes men¡¯s and women¡¯s basketball, volleyball, and baseball on ACC Network Extra.

Pregame Host (Radio)

Stephen Strom enters his 2nd season with the Marlins Radio Network, and his second as the Pregame host of Marlins On Deck as well as the co-host of the Inside Corner radio program and team podcasts in addition to all postgame interviews following Marlins victories.

Raised in Old Bridge, NJ, Strom graduated from Kean University, where he played basketball and graduated with a degree in Communications. He also calls Nova Southeastern Men¡¯s Basketball games as well.

Spanish Play-by-Play Announcer (Radio)

Yiky Quintana returns for his 23rd full season as the Marlins¡¯ Spanish play-by-play announcer. Besides radio, Quintana serves as the main sports anchor/producer for WJAN41 Am¨¦rica Teve in Miami.

Quintana has more than 30 years of broadcasting experience. He began his career as a journalist writing for several Cuban national sports magazines and newspapers. Over the airwaves, Quintana served as a commentator and play-by-play announcer for the providence of Las Villas¡¯ radio network. He worked for TV Cubana (1980-1993) as a sports commentator and play-by-play announcer for several national and international championships including baseball, volleyball, basketball, and boxing.

After acquiring political asylum from the Venezuelan Republic, Quintana worked as sports analyst and play-by-play announcer for Cadena Super Suave as well as serving as the official play-by-play announcer for the ¡°Tigres de Aragua¡±, of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League.

Quintana was selected by fans as the Most Popular Sports Commentator as well as one of the 10 Most Popular Artists in Cuba. He is also a member of the National Cuban Hall of Fame (Class of 2007) for his contributions to the sports journalism field and was named the Miami Life Awards Sports Broadcaster of the Year in 2008 & 2009. He was awarded the Premio Revista Carteles XXVIII edition as the ¡°Best Sports Announcer in 2016.

Quintana received his bachelor¡¯s degree in Physical Education and Sports, with a specialization in baseball, from Instituto Superior de Cultura F¨ªsica. Quintana also served as pitching coach for several baseball national championships in Cuba. Yiki and his wife, Lizet, reside in Miami, Fla.

Spanish Senior Sports Anchor

Jos¨¦ Luis N¨¢poles enters his eighth season as a radio voice for WAQI. In addition to his radio duties, he is the lead sports anchor for WLTV, Univision of South Florida. Jos¨¦ Luis began his career at Univision 23 in 2006.

Born in Villa Clara, Cuba, he began studying and developing his professional life in radio and television. In different stages of his life he has practiced intensely different sports disciplines. When he finished his pre-university studies, Jos¨¦ Luis began studying at the physical culture branch of the city of Santa Clara, where he graduated with a degree in Sports and Physical Culture in 1996. After that, he began to venture into the field of broadcasting, animation and sports narration. He completed several training courses in techniques of voice over, sports narration, and social communication. In 2004, Jos¨¦ Luis began working as a sports commentator and news anchor in Miami.

Jos¨¦ Luis has a true passion for live sports and loves reporting on the players and the games. He is a fan of soccer and baseball. He had the opportunity to cover the Miami Heat championships in 2012 and 2013. Jos¨¦ Luis lives in Miami with his wife.
