Burnett, Dontrelle Willis and Carl Pavano, mixed with the veteran leadership of Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez, Mike Lowell and Jeff Conine, led the way as the Florida Marlins defeated the San Francisco Giants, Chicago Cubs and Yankees en route to franchise's second world championship.
