MIAMI ¨C Baseball is around the corner with the start of the Miami Marlins season on Thursday, March 27 at 4:10 p.m. vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates. Opening Day is a can¡¯t-miss event and the Marlins today announce a comprehensive transportation and parking plan to alleviate the travel to and from loanDepot park.
On-site parking is limited and expected to SELL OUT soon. Fans can prepurchase parking for Opening Day by visiting the Miami Marlins parking hub at Marlins.com/Parking. Fans who prepurchase parking for Opening Day will receive a $5 discount towards the on-site parking rate.
Fans with prepaid parking are asked to have their parking passes handy and visible within the MLB Ballpark App when approaching on-site parking facilities. Parking spaces are not pre-assigned. Police and parking authorities will direct vehicles to the parking facility that best supports traffic conditions. Although not guaranteed, attendees wishing to park in a specific parking facility are encouraged to arrive early.
Parking facilities will open at 12:30 p.m. on Opening Day, and entrances open at 1:30 p.m., allowing fans early entry to catch Marlins batting practice. Fans should be in their seats at 3:30 p.m. for the pre-game Opening Day festivities.
Additionally, limited valet parking passes for Opening Day are available for purchase. Valet parking will be available in the Home Plate Garage (1502 NW 7th St., Miami, FL 33125). Fans interested in purchasing valet parking should also visit the Miami Marlins parking hub at Marlins.com/Parking.
loanDepot park is also providing a transportation option for fans who do not wish to drive to the ballpark on Opening Day. Available for only $12 per vehicle, fans can bypass gameday traffic utilizing the Park & Ride service in Downtown Miami. Fans can park in the Hickman Garage (270 NW 2nd St) before jumping on a complimentary shuttle to the ballpark.
The complimentary shuttles will run to and from the ballpark on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., allowing fans to enjoy the exciting post-game on-field performances by Luis Fonsi and Flo Rida. The shuttles will drop off and pick up fans on the ballpark campus along NW 14th Avenue allowing for a less-than one-block walk to the game.
