Here are the Twins' 2025 Top 30 prospects
When Walker Jenkins moved into the top spot of the Twins¡¯ Top 30 a year ago, we had a feeling we¡¯d be calling his name again a year later. And even though he missed six weeks with a hamstring injury, the No. 5 overall pick in the 2023 Draft still reached Double-A in his first full season and showed off all his tools in the process, a reason why he clocked in at No. 3 overall on our new Top 100 list. So he was a clear choice to stay atop the board.
Two members of last year¡¯s Top 5 -- Brooks Lee and David Festa -- graduated and Gabriel Gonzalez, while still on the Top 30, has dropped down. That¡¯s made room for a new trio of players in Luke Keaschall, who hit his way onto the Top 100, 2024 first-rounder Kaelen Culpepper and the resurrected Connor Prielipp, who hopefully is poised to shake off the injury bug and put his electric stuff to use on the mound.
Not that the top of the list is the only place the Twins get big leaguers from. Last year, Zebby Matthews was No. 20 on the Top 30, then he raced up the ladder and up the rankings (and into the Top 100) before contributing enough to the big league team to graduate. This year¡¯s candidates to potentially ¡®Zebby¡¯ could be Andrew Morris, Cory Lewis or perhaps Travis Adams from the organization¡¯s deep stable of later-round arms who may turn into future big leaguers.

Biggest jump/fall
Here are the players whose ranks changed the most from the 2024 preseason list to the 2025 preseason list:
Jump: Rayne Doncon, 3B/SS (2024: 30 | 2025: 15)
Doncon joined the Twins via the Manny Margot trade in late February a year ago, just enough time to squeeze him onto the end of the 2024 Top 30 list. An improved approach at the plate led to a reduction in strikeouts and an improved walk rate. If that continues, he should be able to keep tapping into his considerable raw power more consistently.
Fall: Tanner Schobel, 2B/3B (2024: 10 | 2025: NR)
The Twins¡¯ second-rounder in 2022, he¡¯s now slashed .215/.309/.329 over parts of two seasons combined in Double-A. That combines with the fact that he doesn¡¯t seem to have a true position -- shortstop isn¡¯t going to work, he can play a little second, he¡¯s OK at third and his trial in the outfield last year was so-so.
