Yarbrough had four stints with the Rays in 2022 but also had two stints on the Injured List¡he was placed on the IL before making an appearance with left groin tightness and ended the season on the IL with a right oblique strain... He made his fifth consecutive Opening Day roster in 2022 and was originally announced as the Rays fifth starter¡he was placed on the IL with left groin tightness on April 11, retroactive to April 8, and missed 23 games before making his season debut on May 3... On May 26 vs. the Yankees, Yarbrough took a no-hitter into the 6th inning, when he began the frame with a hit batter and back-to-back singles... Over his first eight appearances (6 starts), he went 0-4 with a 5.82 ERA (22 ER in 34.0 IP)¡but over his final two stints with the Rays, from July 16-Sept. 22, he went 3-4 with a 3.52 ERA (18 ER in 46.0 IP) in 12 outings (three starts).
