Full name is Ceddanne Chipper Nicasio Marte Rafaela...His mother, Rechilena, was a big fan of Chipper Jones...First name is pronounced “say-DAHN”...Participated in the Red Sox Rookie Development Program in Jan. 2023...The program included two workouts daily, seminars focused on assimilation into Major League life on and off the field, an RBI clinic with the Red Sox Foundation and a visit to Boston Children’s Hospital...Played in the 2012 Little League World Series for Cura?ao.

Split the season between High-A Greenville (45 G) and Double-A Portland (71 G), his Double-A debut...Hit .299 (144-for-481) with an .880 OPS, 82 runs, 32 2B, 10 3B, 21 HR, 86 RBI, and 28 SB. Was the only minor leaguer with 30+ 2B, 10+ 3B, and 20+ HR...Ranked among Minor Leaguers in triples (T-4th, 10), XBH (T-14th, 63), and total bases (T-16th, 259).
