Made his MLB debut in August...Played in 28 MLB games...Appeared defensively in CF (11 starts) and at SS (five starts) and 2B (one start)...Became the first Cura?aoan-born position player to play for the Red Sox and the second player overall (also Kenley Jansen)...Also played 108 games between Double-A Portland and Triple-A Worcester, batting .302 with an .869 OPS, 31 2B, 20 HR and 36 SB...Was one of only six Minor Leaguers to hit at least .300 with 20+ HR and 20+ steals...Was named 2023 Red Sox Minor League Base Runner of the Year by the organization...Finished the season ranked as a Red Sox top prospect by Baseball America (No. 6) and MLB.com (No. 3)...Also ranked as a Top 100 prospect by MLB.com (No. 72).

Split the season between High-A Greenville (45 G) and Double-A Portland (71 G), his Double-A debut...Hit .299 (144-for-481) with an .880 OPS, 82 runs, 32 2B, 10 3B, 21 HR, 86 RBI, and 28 SB. Was the only minor leaguer with 30+ 2B, 10+ 3B, and 20+ HR...Ranked among Minor Leaguers in triples (T-4th, 10), XBH (T-14th, 63), and total bases (T-16th, 259).
