Red Sox Foundation
The Red Sox Foundation is uniquely positioned to leverage the iconic brand of the Boston Red Sox to empower our community, and has been the cornerstone of Principal Owner John Henry and Chairman Tom Werner's charitable commitment to our local communities across New England and Lee County, Florida since 2002.
Over twenty years later, thanks to our compassionate and generous fan base, the Foundation has transformed and saved lives, resulting in a total investment of over $120 million. By coupling our year-round, direct-service programming with our grant-making initiatives and core partnerships, we utilize a unique model as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization to effectively triple our impact.
Our mission to make a difference in the lives of youth, families, Veterans, and communities in need by improving health, educational, and recreational opportunities remains at our core. To create a strong pathway forward, the Foundation will prioritize two critical initiatives as part of our direct-service programming and grant-making initiatives:
- Growing the game of youth baseball and softball
- Expanding access and opportunity to high quality educational resources
The Red Sox Foundation's impact off the field is stronger than ever because of the heart of Red Sox Nation. Thank you for making our work possible through your continued support.
