H.S.

2023

Went 10-4 with a 3.35 ERA (129.0IP, 109H, 60R/48ER, 59BB, 149K, 15HR) in 27 combined games (25 starts) with Double-A Somerset and Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre…among qualified Yankees farmhands, ranked third in wins and winning percentage (.714), fourth in games started, fifth in ERA, strikeouts and innings pitched, sixth in opponents’ BA (.226) and eighth in WHIP (1.30)…began the season with Somerset, going 3-0 with a 2.45 ERA (29.1IP, 26H, 10R/8ER, 12BB, 39K, 0HR) in six starts…was promoted to Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre on 5/17, going 7-4 with a 3.61 ERA (99.2IP, 83H, 50R/40ER, 47BB, 110K, 15HR) in 21 games (19 starts)…was named the International League “Pitcher of the Month” in September with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after going 1-0 with a 0.63 ERA (28.2IP, 15H, 2ER, 11BB, 36K, 0HR) in five games (three starts)…following the season, was tabbed by Baseball America as the Yankees’ No. 9 prospect…was also labeled by the publication as having the “Best Control” among Yankees farmhands.

2022

In his first professional season, went 9-9 with a 3.91 ERA (129.0IP, 119H, 70R/56ER, 42BB, 125K, 10HR) in 26 starts with High-A Hudson Valley and Double-A Somerset…ranked second among Yankees farmhands in games started, fourth in innings pitched, tied for fourth in wins, seventh in strikeouts, ninth in WHIP (1.25) and 10th in ERA…went 2-3 with a 3.60 ERA (35.0IP, 14ER) and 42K in eight starts with Hudson Valley before being promoted to Somerset on 5/28…was named the Eastern League “Pitcher of the Week” from 7/4-10 after allowing just three hits over 7.0 scoreless innings on 7/7 vs. Bowie (5K)…in 18 starts with the Patriots, went 7-6 with a 4.02 ERA (94.0IP, 42ER) and 83K… following the season, was ranked by Baseball America as the Yankees’ No. 7 prospect, as well as labeled as having the “Best Slider” among Yankees farmhands.
